Edwin Sakala leader of a little known opposition party called ZDDM says he fears for the events to unfold in the country and has since called a press conference tomorrow to tell the nation of the events.
Sakala who is a stooge supporter of President Edgar Lungu says the nation needs to know what will unfold so they are not to be taken by surprise.
“As one of the oldest political parties in the country we fear for the future of Zambia hence our calling for a prompt press conference tomorrow at 10.00hr to help Zambia’s not to be taken by surprise as events unfold in the nation,” Sakala said in a statement today.
The press briefing will be held at the ZDDM offices on the first floor of Church House the building directly opposite the Bank of Zambia on Cairo Road.
“We shall also brief the media on the equally volatile situation we found in Chipata yesterday where we had been extremely careful as we collected signatures to support our campaign to urge parliament to enact a law of restoring the immunity of presidents and which will also bring to an end the culture of using mob psychology to humiliate presidents at the end of their tenure in office,” said Sakala.
