HH addressing a rally in Choma

UPND pesidential candidate Hakainde Hichilema has addressed a mega rally in Choma saying President Lungu must go whether he likes it or not.

Hichilema or HH as he is commonly known said he will not allow his votes to be stolen next month.

HH charged that he is ready to take on the bull by its horn and ensure his votes are protected.

He told a mega rally not to participate in the referendum saying it was a scheme to manipulate the election. He said people who are not registered but taking part in the referendum would be used to vote for Lungu.

HH who is the main challenger to president Lungu urged the people of Choma to turn up in numbers on the voting day in order to secure a first round victory.

He said it has been difficult to win elections because many people do not turn up to vote.

The UPND Leader urged the people not to sell their votes but instead deal with the people who were going round buying voters’ cards.

HH told the people of Choma that his candidature has been widely endorsed including by the people who formed PF Guy Scott and the Sata family.

He wondered why some people were still clinging to PF when the owners had left the party.

“You have no food ati pabwato, you have no money in your pocket ati pabwato. Pabwato yabanyoko, ” he charged.

HH charged that the PF government had failed to run the economy. He promised to create jobs and lower the price of fertilizer in August once he forms government.

The UPND presidential candidate also promised that he will give out cattle on loans and that he will buy land which be subdivided into plots for the local people.
