Rainbow Party is a strong contender in the August general elections, party’s leader Wynter Kabimba has declared.
Kabimba who is the party’s presidential candidate says Rainbow is strong enough to win the election in the first round of the election.
He charged that some political parties were seeking alliances because they are not strong on the ground.
Kabimba said the Rainbow, a socialist party of Zambia is going into the elections with a clear ideology and programme on how to tackle the social and economic challenges the country is going through.
“To create employment you have to get the economy productive by getting our people participate in the divergent of our economy then you shall see the creation of employment,” Kabimba explained.
He said Zambians have an opportunity to redeem themselves by voting out the PF in August 11.
“August 11 is the day of redemption for the Zambian people. And Rainbow Party is the altainative and the future,” Kabimba said.
Kabimba was speaking when he featured on an election radio programme The Contender on Hot FM Wednesday afternoon monitored by Zambian Eye.
