Lusaka province Deputy Minister Mulenga Sata has left his father’s party – PF and is at the opposition UPND press briefing.The UPND press briefing to be addressed by leader Hakainde Hichilema and is currently going on at Chainama Hotel in Lusaka.
Mulenga Sata is a PF nominated Member of Parliament and served as Deputy Minister at State House before he was moved to Lusaka province.
He is among the notables expected to endorse the candidature of Hichilema at the press briefing. Mulenga according to sources has been absent from his office the last two weeks.
A number of PF officials who were close to the founding president Micheal Sata feel sidelinned by the Edgar Lungu administration.
