Road Transport and Safety Agency has suspended the road licences for Mazhandu family bus services and Wada Chovu Transport for a period of one month.
But Mazhandu family bus services proprietor Justin Mazhandu says the operator is not aware of the development.
RTSA chief executive officer Zindaba Soko told journalists during a media briefing that the suspension will only be lifted once the operators put their house in order.
May I announce that the agency has evoked its powers provided for under section 108 of the road traffic act. Therefore, the agency has suspended the road service licences for mazhandu family bus services and wada Chovu transport for a period of one month each,” he said.
But Mr mazhandu said they will take legal action against the agency.
