Former FAZ president Kalusha Bwalya has dismissed reports in some section of Online Media that he is vying for Kalulushi parliamentary seat on PF ticket.
“I would just like to clarify that I am NOT standing for any political position,” Kalusha stated this afternoon.
“I appreciate and will be forever grateful to HE President Edgar Lungu led PF government for their support of football in Zambia. I am not campaigning for any postiion right now.”
“Contrary to some mis-spelt posters that are circulating, this is incorrect.
I am enjoying my free time and am focussing on my studies , and will continue promoting football in Zambia, Africa and the World at large,” he added.
A campaign post has been circulating the message that the Zambian soccer legend was vying for the Kalulushi seat on the Copperbelt on the ruling party ticket.
