Long-serving Monze central UPND Member of Parliament Jack Mwiimbu is Zambia’s best-performing parliamentarian, according to Zambian Eye readers who took part in a week-long poll conducted on the publication’s Facebook page.
And Republican President Edgar Lungu (Chawama) and his ministers Dora Siliya (Petauke central) and Fackson Shamenda (Ndola central) are among those with the unenviable distinction of being named worst performers.
Chief Government Spokesperson Chishimba and Roan PF MP Chishimba Kambwili was a close second to Mwiimbu, with his works in his constituency clearly appreciated by our readers.
Monze legislator Mwiimbu has held the seat for 15 years and will be hoping to make it 20 if he is re-adopted by his party in this year’s general elections.
