Eric Chanda
Eric Chanda, the leader of the opposition 5th Republic has been arrested by Police for defamation of the president.
Chanda who is the Spokesperson of the Orange Alliance was arrested today, Monday in Lusaka.
He has since been remanded in custody. By press time his alliance partner Miles Sampa was trying to have him out.
Chanda is accused to have issued defamatory remarks against President Lungu last year.
