Opposition UPND Vice president for Administration Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba has vowed that battle lines have now been drawn against his party and President Edgar Lungu.
Addressing UPND Cadres at the party’s Secretariat after his release after he was briefly detained on Wednesday, Mwamba vowed that he will revenge. He accused President Lungu of being behind his arrest which he says is persecution.
Mwamba commonly known as GBM threatened to deal with President Lungu whom he says will be out of office after the August 2016 general elections.
GBM who served as Defence Minister under President Sata and financed the PF in 2011 elections questioned who Lungu is for him to persecute him. He said Sata who was the founder of PF never persecuted him even after they differed.
GBM was arrested and charged with unlawful drilling. He was later locked up in cells as the police refused to give him a bond and was only released after the court granted him bail.
