GBM waves at Supporters
United Party for National Development (UPND) Vice president for administration Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba (GBM) has been saved from spending a night in the police cells.
This follows the court ruling to grant him bail when he appeared Wednesday afternoon. The bail conditions were two working sureties and K50, 000 in default.
The sureties were Mazabuka Member of Parliament Gary Nkombo and Teddy Kasonso. He will appear in court on March 10, 2016.
Mwamba commonly known as GBM was arrested in the morning and officially charged for unlawful drilling contrary to section 66 (1)(a) as read with section 21 (c) and (d) of the penal code.
