Lusaka District Medical Officer Gideon Zulu has maintained that the Cholera outbreak in the capital city has been contained.
Dr Zulu says so far there are no new confirmed cases for Lusaka but that medical providers are still on the ground to provide health talks to the affected communities.
He explains that the biggest challenge is most of the affected communities do not have safe clean drinking water but depend on shallow wells which are contaminated with faecal matter.
A ZNBC News crew that visited Kanyama Cholera Centre found that no patients are admitted at the center.
