Vice President Ingone Wina says government is ready to host the August 11, general election.
Mrs Wina says the general election was budgeted for under this year’s national budget.
She however, says government has also engaged cooperating partners to support the holding of the general election.
Mrs Wina was responding to Ikelengi MP Elijah Muchima on government’s readiness to hold elections in view of a referendum to be held alongside the polls.
And Mrs. Wina says government will not amend the grade 12 clause because people requested for its inclusion in the amended constitution – ZNBC
