Kafue man who was allegedly beaten and detained at Kafue Estate Police Post on tribal grounds has since reported the matter at Kafue Police Station.
Emmanuel Nangwale reported the matter Friday morning around 9. He has now been given a police report to seek medical attention and obtain a medical report for the docket to be opened against the known police officers.
He says the police in-charge has assured that the case will be investigated.
A docket will be opened once a medical report is presented to the police.
It is alleged that Nangwale was yesterday beaten by the police officers who say they were revenging on the Bweengwa incidence where residents are reported to have attacked the police and government officials who were returning from a rally addressed by President Lungu.
Nangwale alleges he was beaten and detain after the officers established that he was Tonga by tribe.
