Zesco has now restored power after the country was plunged into darkness this evening.
Meanwhile Energy Minister Dora Siliya says the major fault was at Leopards Hill Substation.
The problem plunged the entire country into darkness except Livingstone city and some parts of Western province that get power from Victoria Falls power station.
