ATP professional Mitchell Krueger has joined the effort to help out the international tennis charity Love-40 by donating some of his own tennis equipment.

The 22-year-old Krueger – who is currently ranked No. 218 in the world – is a former TBarM junior product who now resides in Boca Raton, Fla. He has donated 10 of his Technifibre rackets to the children of Mufulira, Zambia as well as tennis bags and shoes.

“I donated to love-40 because I think it’s a really great cause, I am very fortunate to receive a ton of equipment and clothes throughout the year, so it’s very important for me to try and give back as much I can to those less fortunate” said Krueger

The equipment will be shipped to Zambia on January 21, 2017 and will be distributed to the under privileged children currently participating in the Love-40 youth tennis program.

“We are so thankful to Mitchell for making this contribution during the holiday season,” Love-40.org president Sydney Bwalya said. “This is the perfect gift for our kids who have come to love the game.”

“I want people to understand that there’s always someone out there that is less fortunate than you that would be overjoyed to receive clothes regardless of new or used. If there’s anything sitting around that isn’t used anymore, it’s easy to make a donation to love-40 and hopefully change a kid’s life for better” Krueger said.

Love-40 is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible. Make your donation by December 20th to ensure that it can be deducted for this calendar year.
