Chishimba Kambwili
Roan PF Member of Parliament Chishimba Kambwili has bounced back in his old role as Chief Government Spokesperson and Minister of Information and Broadcasting Services.
The outspoken legislator broke the news of his appointment in a short message on his Facebook page and thanked President Edgar Lungu for showing faith and trust in his capabilities.
Dr Kambwili has also disclosed that the ministry of information and Broadcasting Services now includes Communication. He is expected to be sworn in tomorrow at 09:00 hours.
“Thank you His Excellency President Edgar Chagwa Lungu for according me this opportunity to serve in your cabinet, I appreciate the faith and trust you have in my capabilities and I will serve you and the Zambians in an exemplary manner, I will work hard and deliver to your expectations in accordance the the Patriotic Front manifesto. I am glad to note that the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Services now includes Communication as well. I am equal to the additional task,” Dr Kambwili wrote.
Meanwhile, President Lungu has appointed Masaiti PF Member of Parliament Michael Katambo as Minister of Livestock and Fisheries.
