Mayors and their deputies installed

The installation was done alongside the elections of Deputy Mayors who are to be assistants to the elected mayors.

Mayors shall preside over City and Municipal councils in providing with local government services though the council deliberations.

Lusaka’s newly elected Mayor Wilson Kalumba was installed alongside Deputy Mayor Chilombo Chitangala in a colourful ceremony at Lusaka’s Civic Centre.

Whilst Christopher Kang’ombe has been installed as Kitwe Mayor in an equally colourful event in Kitwe.
