Just after the ruling was made, Patriotic Front emissaries in the constitutional court chambers led b Kaizer Zulu,Chanda Kabwe and Brian Hapunda emerged from the chambers and started chanting, ululating and celebrating on the Supreme court grounds.
But a check by Zambia Eye across Lusaka proved that few people participated in the celebration as the news of the petition ruling took time to reach different parts of Lusaka.
,Meanwhile most bloggers have mixed feelings on the outcome of the petition, most of them feel it is good that the phase is over as the uncertainty posed a danger to the security whilst others feel justice hasn’t been served especially that the case was disposed off on technicalities
And there was tight security at the around the cpurt this morning. Zambia Police had closed all the court entrance and a metal detector had been mounted on the entrance of the court with thoroughly body search
