People’s Alliance for Change presidential candidate Andyford Banda has accused organisers of the Presidential debate that was held yesterday at Mulungushi International Center of having sidelined him.
Banda lamented that he was unfairly sidelined from the debate adding that he could have explained his vision and plans for the country.
He further explained that he was not officially communicated to as to why he was not invited after he was initially informed that he would feature in the debate on Wednesday.
Banda who described as untrue assertions that he opted out of the debate however said he will not allow the situation to discourage him and his team ahead of this year’s elections.
He mentioned that it’s a motivation for him to soldier on and fight for a just society that creates opportunities for all.
He has since urged Zambias to vote for him in this year’s election in order to usher in new leadership.
Out of the nine candidates contesting next Thursday’s election, five candidates who included UPNDs Hakainde Hichilema, FDDs Edith Nawakwi turned up for the debate.
