Presidential debate organised by Muvi Television is underway at Mulungushi conference centre. Incumbent president and PF candidate Edgar Lungu has snubbed the debate.
In attendance, is UPND’s Hakainde Hichilema, FDD’s Edith Nawakwi, Rainbow and Party’s Wynter Kabimba.
Others are Green Party’s Peter Sinkamba and United Progressive Party’s (UPP) president, Saviour Chishimba.
The debate which is live on Muvi Television started at 6pm.
Zambia goes to the polls next week on Thursday, August 11, 2016. The poll according to campaigns is expected to be tightly contest.
