President Edgar Lungu is today expected to address a campaign rally in Chikankata constituency in Southern province.This is the constituency Lungu got no vote during the presidential by-election in 2015. The constituency stretches from Munali Hills on the east of Lusaka, Livingstone Road and shares the boundaries with Mazabuka Central on the South and Siavonga on the East. It is a rural constituency but houses a mission hospital, Nursing School and Secondary School. See the map here.
Samual Mukupa the Road Development Agency (RDA) Chairman who is also Lungu’s campaign manager announced that the PF presidential candidate will be campaigning in the area.
The United Party for National Development- UPND, is today Monday, July 25th 2016 expected to address two rallies in Livingstone and Kaputo.
In Livingstone the rally will be addressed by Hakainde Hichilema the party’s Leader and Presidential Candidate whilst his running mate and party’s Vice President for Administration Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba will be in Kaputa.
Meanwhile Mr Samuel Mukupa, the campaign manager for President Edgar Chagwa Lungu , has announced that on Monday, July 25, 2016, the President will address a public rally in Chikankata constituency in Southern Province at 15hrs.
