Teach Southerners a lesson, give UPND Zero – Kambwili tells Copperbelt

Information Minister Chishimba Kambwili has told the people of the Copperbelt province to ensure the opposition UPND gets zero in next month’s general election.

 

Kambwili who was speaking at a rally addressed by Vice president Inonge Wina in Masaiti today, July 20th said the people of Southern province gave PF and Edgar Lungu 20,000 votes and 200, 000 to Hakainde Hichilema of the UPND. He said in some polling stations Lungu was getting zero, no vote.

 

The PF Outspoken Minister said the people of the Copperbelt should teach their counterparts in South province a lesson during the August elections.

 

Speaking at the same rally Ms Inonge Wina said Masaiti had lagged behind in terms of development because the people in the area voted for the opposition. She told the people to vote for President Lungu because he put women in high positions of responsibility including appointing her as a running mate.

 

Mwenya Musenge who is the Copperbelt province Minister urged the people to turn up in numbers and vote for the PF. He assured the Vice president that the Copperbelt province is locked for PF.
