The ministry of Lands, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection has lifted the suspension on the issuance and renewal of forest concession licenses in the country.
And Zambia has raised about 20 million United States dollars from the auctioning of the Mukula logs that were impounded.
Lands, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Minister Christable Ngimbu disclosed this at a media briefing in Lusaka today.
Ngimbu said the lifting of the ban comes after the setting up of the new forest regulations by her ministry.
